SOLVED:hp 5590 scanner driver

Hi!
I've run into a recent problem with my scanner. It has worked on MGA 8 in the past, and I'm not sure if there's been a SANE update, but attempting to set up the scanner through MCC says the HP 5990 driver is not supported, although the SANE page itself shows "Complete support"

Any ideas?

Can you please post the output of the following commands

Sorry for the problem....it turned out that the scanner was showing an error code (08), restarting the scanner didn't help, but opening and reclosing the document feeder seems to have done the trick. Odd. The driver XSANE picked is now showing again.
