canon lide 220 setup

canon lide 220 setup

Postby ryk » Jan 15th, '16, 21:23

Hi,

i have recently bought the aforementioned scanner, cause i saw that it is supported in linux. But it seems that it is not running in mageia 5.
I run the "setup scanner" in MCC, but it hasn't the scanner in the list (tried some other canon lide, but in vain).
Code: Select all
sane-find-scanner -q
gives:
Code: Select all
found USB scanner (vendor=0x04a9 [Canon], product=0x190f [CanoScan], chip=GL848+) at libusb:002:008

If this is any help! Should I try some unstable sane and how?

Thanks!

If you wan't to get it working need to compile manually sane git

Also you can file a bug to our bugzilla so it will be supported in next Mageia 6.
