[SOLVED] HP Deskjet 1510 printer has stopped printing

How can I delete all the configurations for the printer. And which packages should I remove?

In case it helps, during the first few days that I was asking for help here, both hplip and a little blue HP icon that was always in my system tray disappeared from my Mageia system.

Open MCC and go to Hardware > Configure printing and scanning. Delete the printer.

Then, while still in MCC go to Software Management > Install & Remove Software

Search for cups and uninstall. It should also warn you that it will uninstall hplip and a bunch of other printer related packages. That's OK.

You probably don't really need to, but I would then reboot.

After your computer is rebooted, hook the printer up. Then go back to MCC, configure the printer and it will install the needed packages to do so.
