Epson Printer does not work mageia.

Hi.
I'm using Mageia 8. In the install i chose kde plasma.
I have an epson L6190 printer that i can't seem to set up. I've used most major distros out there, and the printer seems to work ootb in most of them(Well, except opensuse, but i set it up with a few tweaks.)
I've installed lsb.
Any way to solve this problem?

You do not provide much information what you did precisely and how.
Is task-printing-epson installed and did you try to setup the printer afterwards in MCC (see link provided by Germ)?

Yes. I did install the task-printer-epson package. However when i select my printer in new printer, it shows that i should select the printer from the database and it recommends text-only driver. Which one should i choose?

I checked openprinting.org and your printer model is not listed.

Yeah, i did install the drivers, but it still doesn't work!

Did you try configuring with CUPS?

Open a browser and enter this in the address field: http://localhost:631/

Hit enter and then click "Administration" at the top of the page

It says 'unable to add printer forbidden.'

You should get a login dialog after clicking add printer. Login as root.

But there is one problem: It doesn't want to print.
Should i specify an ip adress?
