Printing in landscape format

I've just realised that a post that I've put on the forum elsewhere,should really have gone here, so this is it:

This is a problem that's slowly driving me mad. My desktop machine has without warning stopped printing, from Firefox, in landscape format. Portrait is fine, but any failed prints block the print queue, until removed. I normally print to an HP colour laserjet pc1515n, which I've been blaming for the problem. However, the laserjet is currently down while I'm waiting for the tardy delivery of a new toner cartridge, so in the interim, I've resurrected my old Canon inkjet printer. Lo and behold, this suffers exactly the same problem, so the laserjet is not the problem. It would appear that some update, perhaps of Firefox is responsible for this. Any idea's anyone? I don't do much printing from other than Firefox, but I've just tried printing from Gwenview, and it's fine in portrait, but not in landscape, while printing the same file. Cups, perhaps?

Rodgoslin, I had problems with printing in landscape and I could fix them by changing some printer properties in MCC (Mageia Configurationcentrum).

In MCC -> Hardware -> Configure printing and scanning -> Select your printer -> Properties -> Job options:
- Set Orientation to Automatic rotation
- Enable "Scale to fit"

If the above proposal doesn't help, please attach your /var/log/cups/error_log (you may need to copy it into your home folder and rename it before the forum software lets you attach it)

Printing Problem with a HP printer. Has anyone had this problem? I am printing in landscape format and the Odt document looks fine in Print preview but when it actually prints the spacing is removed from any paragraphs or labels....oneverylongsentencethathasnospacingorpunctuation...........thats what all the printing looks like. I have checked the settings and all seems fine. Help?
