[SOLVED] Epson EPL5700 problem installing

I have just installed Mageia2, but am having problems installing my Epson EPL5700 printer. I did the usual printer installation routine, and it found and installed my HPDeskjet 3050A without any problems, but no trace of the EPL5700, which is connected via a USB port.

I know that with some distros you have to install via the CUPS server, but cannot remember how to do this.

Can anyone help please.

Problem resolved. I had to re-install Mageia, owing to a problem with Grub, this time I installed all the printing programs from the repository, before trying to install printers, and it worked.

I am suprised that these programs are not automatically installed on loading the program.
