Hello,
Normally, win32codec was replaced by gecko-mediaplayer

What? gecko-mediaplayer is a browser plugin which uses gnome mplayer, no codec of its own.
There is no direct replacement for win32-codecs, and they are not available for Mageia due to patent/copyright problems.
But nowadays they shouldn't be needed anymore.
@siddha: Could you please give an example for what you need them, or what is not working now?

Well, no problem, you were just trying to help.
Just be careful about false information, tends to spread as fast as flamewars

dvdcss2 is in Tainted_Release software repository.
As said, win32-codecs are not needed anymore, everything should be supported through ffmpeg/libavformats52
or directly through your player, VLC for example.
