[SOLVED]can install mageia without nouveau?

Hello, can I instal Mageia 4 without nouveau? I like option because i like to instal nvidia driver tha i tink is newer than the drifer from mageia nstaller disks.

Why don't you just install Mageia, then install nvidia driver afterwards and simply ignore nouveau?

Officially not 4 but it is a beta of this, and if I installed the driver of mageia sources, this is still older than the nvidia provided on its website, which is what have had to uninstall in order to install the one I want. I've done it on 3 of mageia version and for that I had to uninstall the nvidia driver that came on the installation disk, and with it kde software part as the "folder view" has been orphaned and I do not understand why, because it has nothing to do with the graphics drivers, and so some PROGRAMS more.

P.D: Are there any way to install a generic driver and once booted mageia can insalar which you want?

If you want newer drivers best use http://onse.fi/nvidia-mgabuild/ to convert the nvidia drivers into Mageia packages.
I don't get what you mean by your last question, that's what Mageia does. You can use e.g. the vesa driver for every graphics chip, and later install the driver you want.

I my last question i thin k that i refer to vesa drivers, this driver is a generic driver not from a manufacturer of a graphic card. and thank you for say me that there is a tool to make drivers with NVidia run files.
