I use parole to reproduce a movie. It's stays stopped, but when i open a terminal and enter as root, then after i logged in, the movie starts to play normally, maybe it's a bug, but i don't know who to report it. To make it more clear if a close the console the movie stops again.

Which desktop environment are you using, which Mageia version and what media did you use to install Mageia?

Sorry, i'm using enlightenment, installed Mageia 3 (From an iso CD) and made an update but nothing. The problem could be solved by giving root permission to the player (since most of the others only crash).

Problem is solved after updating by the testing repositories.

Can you try to just open a terminal as root, put it aside and then launch the player as normal user again?

I did that, after y logged as root plays, i exit the root user and as a normal user the movie stops again. Even when i launch the player aside from the terminal (i mean i launch the player and then the terminal). But starts to play only after i enter as root.
Since this problem is solved in testing i wouldn't go any further.
