Hi there im trying to get my external monitor an asus flatpanel monitor to work with my acer laptop via the hdmi connector. I plugged in the monitor after magiea was up and running a screen popped up asking for monitor settings i enabled hdmi output chose the resolution of the monitor hit ok but nothing is happening , the monitor is still blank saying no hdmi signal. laptop is working fine. ive tried the function keys on the laptop forthe monitor selection , all that does is alter the resolution of my laptop display..

any ideas / suggestions???

As you had already posted this problem two days ago, maybe noone knows the solution, or had the time to look at this yet.
Please don't cross-post or double post for the same problem. Be patient, and if someone can help you, they will answer.

For the popup, can you maybe take a screenshot of that? Also, which desktop environment are you using?
