There is a problem in dvdstyler, where the text get truncated when adding to meuus or titles.
Type of font and size makes know difference and according to Alex Thuering developer of the program,
Cairo has some new optimizations that doesn't jar with wxSVG code.
Fixed in wxSVG v1.1.11. He is also coming out with a new beta version this week sometime to help.

I'm not very good with bugzilla so I was wondering if someone could help this poor soul in need.

I could help you write the bug report, but would need more information.
Which version of dvdstyler are you using, and with which version of Mageia does this happen?

and http://sourceforge.net/p/dvdstyler/bugs/500/

I took your advise and followed your instructions and used the guided version according to https://wiki.mageia.org/en/How_to_report_a_bug_properly.
