Anyone running Einstein@Home Nvidia CUDA workunits ?

Postby RPdL » Jun 2nd, '11, 22:27

I have been having trouble running E@H CUDA workunits under Ubuntu 11.04 and under the previous 10.10. Everything had been working fine, then suddenly a few weeks ago, every CUDA workunit started coming up as invalid (regular workunits all work okay). I do not suspect anything wrong with the video card right now, I think it is an Nvidia driver issue under Ubuntu. I am interested in perhaps changing over to Mageia but would be interested if anyone is running CUDA workunits. The computer would be an Intel 970 (6 core) and Nvidia GTX570 card. I am asking here, because it does not seem possible to run BOINC when only running under the live CD version, and I don't want to remove Ubuntu just yet.

Cheers

I don't run any BOINC project, but I can testify that CUDA works OK on my Mageia with a GFX 470 card.
All necessary CUDA tools/drivers are in the repo.
