[SOLVED] Still no flash on Mageia 2

Thought my problem might be ATI Radeon 9250 causing choppy video but after a reinstall I have very nice desktop effects and the fact that flash content shows either black screen or "plugin needed to view this content" pretty much confirms this is a flash issue.
Followed all reccomends in the MAQeia but still no flash player in Mageia 2 KDE running FF 10.0.4 . I enabled non-free repos and downloaded flash-player-plugin and flash-playerplugin-kde 11.2.202.236 1.mga2.nonfree which seems to be only version available. although MAQeia recommends:
flash-player-plugin-kde-11.1.102.55-1.mga1.nonfree
flash-player-plugin-11.1.102.55-1.mga1.nonfree
After download, FF shows only shockwave flash installed, Adobe flash control panel shows up in KDE system and there is a libflashplayer.so in /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins, BUT.... Adobe flash test site shows no flash installed, "about:plugins" in FF shows Shockwave and FutureSplash which is supposedly Flash Player renamed, but still no videos
Also tried Gnash, but the video with sound is only viewable in low quality 240p. 360p is choppy with no audio.
Reading reviews of flash being 64 bit and FF being 32 bit or older versions of libflashplayer being plugged in one at a time to see which works. Something must b/c my MDV 2008 and PCLOS 2010 and 2012 installs do have flash. Also remember a settings manager on the Adobe site but can't find it now.
Sorry if I missed something. This is mostly a business desktop but would be nice to reference instructional youtube videos.
Any help appreciated
