NVIDIA Driver 340.xx Mageia 7

How long will Mageia keep NVIDIA driver 340.xx in their repositories approximately? Please give me an estimation in years, because this very important to me to choose the right distribution for me. Thank you.

As mentioned in the german forum, probably as long as Nvidia will provide that driver. You would have to ask Nvidia how long that would be ...

https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers ... /a_id/3142 states that the 340 driver will be supported until the end of 2019. So expect it to be gone in Mageia 8.
