vlc player on Belgian DVB-T

I have a Genius TV-GO usb adapter and have used this in the past with the vlcplayer to capture TV shows. Last time I did that was on M5.1
Now on M6 fully updated, I can with the w_scan command create a channels.conf file , but when I try to use this in vlcplayer, no joy. And BTW, if I let vlc player to do the scanning, I get the same messages.
I use at the CLI "vlc -vv channels.conf" and on the feedback I see at the end for each channel found:
dvb stream warning: scan_GetM3U: service number 4128 type 'Digital television' name 'Canvas' channel 65535 cypted=0|network_id 13313 (nit:11 sdt:24)| f=505666666 bw=8 snr=-1 modulation=
and nothing is played.
Anyone can shed some light???

You may want to ask that in VLC forums ...

Done that, I'll keep you informed if anything useful for Mageia turns out.
