Alternative/Third Party Repos for NVidia drivers

Alternative/Third Party Repos for NVidia drivers

Postby gbee » Jul 1st, '17, 11:13

Does anyone know of any third party repos which are offering packages of the latest/beta NVidia drivers?

Or failing that, an updated, working version of Anssi's script for building a package from the NVidia installer? (The version I have from 2015 fails)

Basically you don't need to use packages, you can grab the installer and that also includes updater functionality.

And for Anssi's script you might need to fix it yourself with the commits on the nvidia-current packages, where part of it is also included. I believe there are a few forum threads here where I tried to explain what needs to be changed or commented out for it to work again.

It's been a few years since I last used the NVidia installer, so I'll take another look at it.

I'll also search out those forum posts. Thanks.
