I install Magiea5 in two computers,with the Nvdia GTX950/GTX960,but both of them can not boot to KDE4 launcher.The screen displays "nouveau EC..." all the time.
I search in the Internet,the reason is linux kernel 4.4 can not proside GTX950/GTX960.
If I close nouveau,can Mageia5 boot to launcher?
If so,could please to tell me how to close nouveau?
How can I use another linux(deepin) to close nouveau intalled in Mageia5?
I am a new linux user.

Hi there, I've split out your question into a separate thread as the MAQeia threads are not meant for support-type posts.

Could you describe your actual issue a bit more comprehensively? You installed Mageia 5, and now your X session/login manager does not start?
Do you want to use the nouveau driver, or do you only want to get Mageia working with your graphics cards, maybe using the proprietary nvidia driver?
And what do you mean by "close nouveau"?

It would also be helpful if you could do a regular boot, then switch to another tty via e.g. Ctrl+Alt+F2 and then logging in as root, and write the complete journal log to a text file using e.g.

journalctl -ab > /tmp/journal.txt

and afterwards upload that text file here (or pastebin it or similar)
