Hello, everybody.
I'm running Mageia 4.1 4 bits on a fresh install and VLC is not working properly.

This is exactly my problem:
viewtopic.php?f=23&t=9818

VLC was playing MP4 files without playing audio.

I was using pure VLC, uninstalled it and installed tainted version.

Doktor 5000 asks that user to install codecs, but I didn't know how to do it.

"So installing lib64vo-aacenc0 should fix your issue."

How do I do to install it?

I have manually downloaded RPM version of lib64vo-aacenc0

lib64vo-aacenc0-0.1.2-3.mga4.tainted.x86_64.rpm

but VLC still doesn't play the audio from the MP4 files.

I've searched a little more here at the forum and found this topic:

I have typed this command:

"urpme -a vlc --auto && urpmi vlc --media tainted --auto"

and worked now
