I already tried that, but I am not sure this settings can be changed. If I change it it looks unchecked, but running drakx11 again shows the check mark back.
I found some reports abouth this problem when Mageia 5 was in caldron - without any conclusion. It seems to be some random issue. I think when I first time installed Mageia 5 on Asus everything was fine as far as cursor. It must be some problem with Intel video driver ( I have not tried to see if there is a way to activate Nvidia) because cursor is one thing another is that I have just found out that if my display goes to sleep, it will not function correctly after a wake. Even with xdm cursor is invisible, mowing mouse left and right is shifting screen and moving mouse up will make screen black to the position of the cursor for first half of the screen then will change it to fully black. Ctrl + Alt + Backspace will end up with black screen, but it looks like X is running because when I press the combination again I can see the login screen for a split of the second juts it looks like driver is displaying wrong page from memory. I do not know it this is also case for the cursor.
