Mageia forum

Hello ,
I've been trying to change my forum password and even though I'm signed in to the forum with my old password
the control panel >edit settings. When I try to change the password, it always says i've entered the wrong original password.
I've tried this several times with same results, and yes I've made sure the shift lock is off and made extra sure I was typing the correct Password.
any suggestions?
