Mageia forum

hi,
Why is Google unable to find the Mageia Forum ?
(he can find Mageia blog, Mageia Planet, ... but no forum !)

It's the second choice! All I typed in google search box is 'mageia forums'...

I think he means he can't find topics from the Mageia forum in the google search results; for example, search google for:

site:forums.mageia.org xfce

you don't get this topic for example viewtopic.php?f=8&t=107 (which has the word xfce in it).

And searching for:

Code: Select all

site:forums.mageia.org xdm

gives nothing at all.

Whereas:

Code: Select all

site:bugs.mageia.org xdm

give a plethora of search results.

I am not sure (not that experienced at web development), but it looks like for some reason the google search engine stopped indexing the forums at some point...

It's funny, "forum Mageia" doesn't work, but "forums Mageia" (with an s) does, at least in France.

Yes, the issue is: try searching for a known subject string - Google does not scan the forum inside.
