On a purely personnal point of view i do not agree at all... but as my personal comfort is not supposed to outweigh that of all forums users we could use a poll to let people decide

Yes, I think this is totally a matter of individual taste.
It may be an idea for the future to have at least 3 different templates, one (or both) of the new ones showing the profile on the left?

I prefer the user info on the right actually (since I am reading English, so reading from left to right, the profiles on the right makes more sense to me).

As wobo said there could be more than one forum style, one with profiles on the right, one with them on the left... :)

It looks a little odd to me having them on the right, but I can get used to it.

Profiles on the right makes sense to me, I like it this way:

- when I narrow my browser page, the right part with the profiles is scrolled off the visibile zone of the display first, the contents of the post - the essential information - remains;
- the contents are nicely centered in the browser window, the zones I less frequently look at are in the margins (the sidebar of the browser left, and the profiles are right).

But you are right Wobo, there should be options to allow everybody to pick his choice - this is a Linux environment!

Yep, I much prefer the profile on the left, probably because it's on the left in most other forums I visit and it's what I'm accustomed to seeing.
