Hi,

seems someone forgot to properly setup the groups. As there are two empty groups, Mageia Bug Hunters and Mageia Helpers all the people that apply there can never successfully join without an admin intervention, as the groups management are normally done via the group leaders. Empty groups have no leaders, so noone to manage themselves.

This issue has already been partly mentioned in viewtopic.php?f=18&t=1951 but sadly no reaction/change so far.

Yes, it's an action we need an admin for.

Request - to be solved by an admin:
make doktor5000 member of those 2 groups and give him group leader status

(As I found out, the topic has already been reported).

Sure, hand over every task which is not done by the responsible person to the doctor, he'll do the curing ...

My suggestion was the easiest solution.
The group lead is to be given to somebody who is available most of the time (admin can also give it to me, no problem). Then people can apply and be added and will be those who can do the related work (if there is any).
If it is not your main group you will not even be visible as leader or member of such groups.
