Hello.
I can't change my email here on the forum.
It asks for my current password, but I type it in and get this message: The current password you entered is incorrect..
But it's the same password I used to log in.

That is due to a security vulnerability, it has been disabled quite some time ago, see here: https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Mageia.org_u ... il_mean.3F

You have to open a bugzilla report for our sysadmins to change your email address.

Could be, although that would also be something for sysadmins to take a look.
If you want, I could try to change your forum mail adress to see if that is actually changed in the reply notification mails.

The "xs4all" part of my old e-mail address needs to be changed into "freedom". The rest stays the same.

I've changed it, please let me know if you got a mail.

Thanks for changing it. However, I received no mail, neither in the old mail box, nor in the new one, nor in their spamboxes.

Just checked again, your old mail adress with xs4all is back in your profile. So there seems to be at least a daily sync with whereever the forums pulls your old mail adress from.
You can only try to directly ping either Maat or maybe Dan from our sysadmins to take a look what's happening there, although I don't know if Dan or any of the other sysadmins (apart from Colin who did the last forums updates) knows the forum intrinsics.

As mentioned previously, that will not help. But please feel free to send me your current and new mail adresses in a private message.

I guess the starting point is also different, it might depend what data identity.mageia.org had initially.
The forum groups are additive and only control additional permissions (or restrictions in some cases). Apart from that those shouldn't make any difference.
I'Ve also had a look in ACP for the authentication and it seems to pull the users directly from LDAP, so not sure where it changes the mail adress when I update it in your user profile in forum ACP.

I've changed your mail adress again, let's see if it changes back again and when.

I received a notification today of a reply in a different thread. It was sent to the correct e-mail address
