issue adding attachments

not sure if this is the correct place

when adding a .png to a post and then previewing, I am advised I need to login to post to the thread.
the post content is then lost.
if I make up a post with the .png attached and post without previewing, there is no problem.

Did you maybe test with other attachments, too ?

I just tested with a fresh topic, added an attachment, uploaded it, and preview worked just fine.
Maybe you missed to press the "Add the file" button after selecting a files, which does the actual upload? Otherwise your file is only on your local box.
