Hi. I have changed my password here on this forum. When I log out and try to log back in - my new password isn't recognized. I log in with the old password and try to change my password. It says the new password (which didn't work) is what my password is.
Here is the answer:
viewtopic.php?f=18&t=9899changing your password on the forum doesn't seem to have an effect.
This seems to be the right place to change password info.

Can you provide some more details where you got to the change password function, as that should forward to
https://identity.mageia.org ?

Sure.
Once logged into the forum I clicked User Control Panel > Profile. There is an option to change the password here or update the email address. I changed my password here and it didn't seem to have an effect. I didn't test the email part.

@filip: I'm not sure the integrated forum function to change (not reset/recover) the current password integrates with identity servers at all ...

Me neither. But the hiccup info might be relevant.
