not sure what to do however last time it was a error in the etc\fstab file.


can anyone tell me what can i do to make it work properly?

the machine in question is the hp pavillion G6 with amd A8 apu

Probably not, until you give us a bit more information. I'm guessing you mean that after booting the upgraded system, it drops back to a text display asking you to enter the root password to enter maintenance mode or type ^D to continue. Did you install from a USB stick, and did you remove the stick before rebooting? If so, you may have found https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=15281. If not, enter the root password, and then type
Code: Select all
journalctl -b 0

and look through the log for error messages.

had to add ",nofail" to all windows partiions except for the /boot/efi on the etc/fstab file sorted now sorted, like it did on mageia 4

boots quickly now without interruptions thanks anyway.


sorry guys remembered that fix after glancing upon a old file
