Hello,
where can I change the theme used by pavucontrol?
Image
I've already tried xfce4-appearance-settings, systemsettings and gnome-tweak-tool
Image
and the later shows the same problem.

In .config/gtk-3.0/settings.ini I changed gtk-application-prefer-dark-theme=1 to gtk-application-prefer-dark-theme=0, but that did not help.

(running cauldron)
TIA.

Did you already change the window and/or GTK theme? Something else then high contrast?
Also I believe that dark blackish theme is definitely not the default, so how did you select it in the first place?

Thanks for your answer. Yes, I tried to change the gtk theme (and window theme) to Adwaita or Xfce, but that did not help. Also tried running the programs under a new user account: the same black mess.
So maybe the cause is a broken package, but which one?
Looks like I have to reinstall Mageia to get rid of it :-(

Why do people always want to reinstall for such minor issues?

Any alternative? I need to be able to use pavucontrol without guessing. Uninstalling and installing gtk related packages does not seem to be an option either because mageia tools depend on it.
What do you suggest?
