It was not too hard only minimal install and black list tons of gtk stuff to skip.list and install task-lxqt.

Sorry I don't get your point. You change GTK settings as root, and then wonder why your GTK settings file is owned by root:root ?
GTK settings of the user can be changed as user, no need to be root for that.

Can you florian build this to cauldron it can be backported to 5 name is gtksu it can build against qt5 and used in lxqt. http://gnomefiles.org/content/show.php/ ... ent=158974

Btw i managed to build quassel against pure qt kde integration disabled at build time,so could we think to provide it as an alternative named like quassel-qt5 ?.

Feel free to create package requests for those, but for quassel that's probably not an option as that would mean two builds from one package
and would increase the complexity for the KDE team. Feel free to use your own builds for that, this may not be of much use to the majority of users.

Happy new year 2016!

I am about to test lxqt 0.10.0 in Cauldron, do you have any problem with the taskbar?
I don't have the open applications in the taskbar, is always empty.

You mean the task manager applet? Did you try to remove it / readd it to the panel? Or to delete the whole panel and configure a new one?
Anyways, I need to have a look at the whole 0.10 update, as it wasn't done by myself and there are also some points that I still need to adress.

Thanks for the pointer, I'll take a look. Do you test in a physical installation or in a VM?

If in virtualbox, make sure to disable 3D acceleration.
qterminal is not my package, but I can surely take a look as Matteo is quite busy.

I have no acceleration enabled (3D and 2D)

For the qterminal, we could have only the qt5 version in mga6

I have another suggest could doktor5000 build this kvantum qt4/qt5 engine to Mageia 6.
it have theme named kvsimple it have full lxqt support, openbox lxqt panel theme included and seperate icon theme.
Icon theme works and look way more better than breeze or oxygen as it have full lxqt support.
There is my created bug in bugzilla already.

Yes there is bad thing is qlipper development sucks when i used time ago arch linux,i did have lot of problems build qlipper needed to wait 1 month to get it fixed with qt5.5.
Copyq is better more active development and it's too ported to qt5.

It looks quite interesting, I'll have a look at packaging it.

Edit: It's now in cauldron :)

There is some problems with kdesu as it's using kde-polkit while gksu-polkit use lxqt-polkit by default.
Is there way to force kdesu to use lxqt-polkit or is that impossible cause it's qt4 ?.

You're aware that kdesu/gksu are something really different then a polkit agent? kdesu/gksu are basically sudo for a graphical desktop. polkit is something pretty different. What you are asking makes no sense.
The first screenshot shows pcmanfm-qt opening in "root mode" which uses kdesu as discussed in https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=15088 and no that cannot be easily replaced with any polkit implementation.
If you want to change that, feel free to discuss that upstream.
