Beta 1 wouldn't install on my notebook (bug 11679 - still not fixed). Beta 2 won't install on my desktop either (bug 11988). Not good progress

I was really surprised to see major changes to the drakxtools (which was the cause of my second bug) just before the final beta. That strikes me as asking for trouble!
