I updated to cauldron, but can't install gnome-shell. urpmi says gnome-shell3.0.2-7 needs lib64gjs0-1.29.0.2, but lib64gjs0-1.29.0.2 needs lib64xulrunner2.1 and that package can't be found.
Any ideas for me?

Thanks,
Brian

Very welcome to the Mageia-forum bwm1974!!!

On my test-machine (Cauldron) version 2.0.1 of lib64xulrunner is installed, being the latest version available to my knowledge.

You can place a bug-report:

Where did you get that? Current Cauldron shows
gnome-shell-3.0.2-10.mga2,
lib64gjs0-1.29.0-2.mga2,
lib64xulrunner2.0.1-2.0.1-2.mga2
lib64xulrunner5.0-5.0-2.mga2

I just went back to the mageia install and it appears someone fix the lib64gjs0 dependency to libg4xulrunner5.0. I'm all set now.

Thanks

For some packages, when they're updated to a new major, packages linking against them need to be rebuilt, this takes a bit of time (usually less than 1 day).

That's what I figured. This occurred 2 days ago, I kept an eye on pkgs.org listing for the lib64gjs0 dependencies and just today noticed the lib64xulrunner dependency changed from 2.1 to 5.0.
