I have installed Mageia 1 Beta 1 in VMware 7.1

My feeling is that Mageia 1 have an easy and fast installation process wich I enjoy.
I especially like the installationimages.

I just wating for MySQL and KDE l10n (languagesupport).
I think they will come in later updates.
So far so good. A good work, thanks. :)

When Mageia will be released as final I have a dream that it will be possibility to upgrade from Mandriva 2010.2 to Mageia 1

Wish to have the same possibility to get program as in Mandriva PWP

mysql and kde l10n packages are already available in the repositories. What installation media did you use ?

Upgrade from Mandriva 2010.1/2010.2 to Mageia 1 is planned and should be working.

I use
Core Release (distrib1)
Core Updates (distrib(3)
Nonfree Release (distrib(11)
Nonfree Updates (distrib13)

I can't edit them to do updates, they are just Activated.

My problem solved.
Why I don't find mysql and kde-110n was because mageia controlcentrol just show gui programs - not all.
Now I find the other program as well :)

Localization packages will be installed by default for beta2 including kde-l10n. Bug has been finally fixed and all should be ok for next release
