i just installed mageia 3 64bit cauldron on my dell inspiron laptop everthing worked fine with grub 2 but wen i just updated kernel by default mageia update centr my os got crashed n default kde mageia got lost n now on booting it comes in somelightweight interface n localhost login screen appears

It's likely the mirror you used updated in the middle of your update and somethings were missed.
If by "somelightweight interface" you mean a console just login as root and run

yes it login as root n then through mcc i reinstalled kde default which was missing suddenly my desktop is login properly
but a x --sign appears near to mageia kde panel wat is missing i dont know someone help me to replace--- x --sign in kde panel
