You are running cauldron. Cauldron users are expected to have a good understanding of the system, and to fix little breakages themselves, or at least report them properly.

FWIW: There are serveral updates like that multiple times per day. Do you want to ask for each?
And in general kernel updates in Mageia are installed additionally, your older kernel will still be selectable.
