udev changes?

Just went to apply some udev ruled in /etc/udev/rules.d/ and it doesn't exist anymore in the MGA3b2 x64 install.

the only file is udev.conf, which just sets the udev.log to info IIRC.

Has something drastic changed in udev or did the subdir just not get populated?
(I'm going to create it and see what happens, posting to throw up a flag)
