Well, given it is mgaapplet, then you have to type your user pw not the root pw.

But i think mmix gets those messages, and is not even aware, where they are coming from.
And even if he knew, he wouldn't have a possibility to enter such a password, am i right mmix?

There is no Mageia 3, you're using cauldron, please have a look at https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Cauldron

FWIW, this was also reported on the mageia-dev mailinglist: https://www.zarb.org/pipermail/mageia-d ... 17587.html
This is a small fallout of the UsrMove: https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Feature:UsrMove

UsrMove doesnt worked, i just killed the mgaapplet.

Code: Select all
$ mgaapplet
mgaapplet already running (2303)
$ kill 2303

even better if i could disable mgaapplet.

What's your actual problem? Also, did you read the instructions for UsrMove, which are in the mailing list thread which i linked to?

Also, mgaapplet can be disabled. FWIW, most cauldron users do updates via urpmi --auto-update ...
