Firefox/Thunderbird 12

Postby ethancello » May 4th, '12, 15:59

Hi,

I'd like to make it clear that I understand that Mageia uses the ESR of Mozilla products, but for those of us who want the latest and greatest, can we have a repository or something for the latest stable/beta releases of these?

If not, how would I go about installing them such that they update with mageia.

Using M2B3 Gnome3 x64

You can always install them using the upstream tarballs, so you benefit from automatic updates directly from Mozilla.
See http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Installing Firefox on Linux section "Installing outside of a package manager"
And no, we won't have two versions in parallel for neither Firefox nor Thunderbird, having one is already enough work.
