BGR-RGB problem in flashplayer

Postby Tico » Apr 3rd, '12, 11:45

Since a week ago (more or less), youtube and other flash video sites have wrong colors. Red colors are blue, and blue colors are red, which suggests that it is some kind of BGR-RGB format problem.

Disabling hardware acceleration in flashplayer fixes the problem, but anyways, does anyone suffer the same problem?

It was reported on the -dev mal as well.
It seems to be a problem between the new flash player and nvidia cards: ml thread about flash

So basically we do have two proprietary software components that don't like each other very much :/

Funny thing is that even in windows latest flash player has problems with nvidia: green screen on half of videos with hardware acceleration on, so I guess it is probably their fault.
