Borked because of (probably) a second boot loader

Help!

I'd been dual-booting Mageia 2 KDE and Mageia 2 LXDE having a third partition (/data) shared between them. But then I've decided to replace M.KDE with Lubuntu and during the installation I've installed its bootloader in SDA, Mageia's being in SDA1 (I guess). Now I see Mageia LXDE as SDA3 in the new boot menu, but can't boot into it. Had kernel panic. Can I resurrect my Mageia LXDE?

Since you are presumably now using Grub2, you may find this post of help:

viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1741&p=13547&hilit=grub2#p13547

If that doesn't help, there are other threads about Grub2. A search of the forum will find them.

FWIW

Here's what I have used on most of
my systems for years when I want
to dual boot a system:

I've never had a problem with boot conflicts
between one distro and another.
