In fully updated Mageia 2 Beta 1 x86_64 installed Saturday March 10. Mplayer-gui doesn't open giving these errors :

This one is 1st:

Fatal error!

Error in skin config file on line 11: PNG read error in /usr/share/mplayer/skins/default/main

When I click OK on that it then gives this error:

Fatal error!

Config file processing error with skin 'default'

Anyone else seeing this? Any ideas how to fix? Is this worthy of a bug report?

Just installed mplayer-gui, also got a lot of updates so I re-booted.
I have the same error here.

Sounding more like someone needs to file a bug report...

Interesting... the error report complains about "main" on line 11 of the config file (/usr/share/mplayer/skins/Blue/skin)
If you comment that line and remove the comment from line 10 then the error changes to line 19 - "exit"
