[SOLVED] Scrolling not working on laptop touchpad

Postby mrigs » Mar 11th, '12, 04:05

Hi,

I am on Mageia 2 Beta 1 on a Dell XPS M1530 laptop. For some reason, the scrolling on the touchpad is not working and I believe it broke in one of the recent updates.

I went into the System Settings (Configure your desktop) and under the Input Devices --> Touchpad saw that the scrolling configuration is disabled? Any way to activate it?

Thank you all.

Thanks much ozky. The x11-driver-input-synaptics package was already installed. So I went ahead and installed the -devel package. After rebooting, the scrolling is working.
