Is:

https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=154

the primary vehicle for discussion of Skype
on Mageia 2?

What is your question ?

I think Skype is on cauldron now, so it should be on mageia 2 in non free repo.
(I think it's also in mageia 1 now)

Bugzilla is not really a vehicle for discussion. What do you want to discuss, after all?

I don't see "Skype" anything in the Cauldron Repo.
I did a search on "Sk", still no Skype. Nor do I
see a "task-" something for Skype. Seems some
time ago Mandrake/Mandriva had an install for
Skype. Maybe I was able to download an RPM
from the Skype website.

There's a skype-2.2.0.35-fedora.i586.rpm on
the Skype website. I'll give that a try and
see if it works on my Cauldron test box.

https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=154
is a long running discussion really concerning
the Skype License. Kinda left up in the air that
maybe something like the flash-player-plugin
can be built.

I'm coming out of the darkages and recently
purchased an Android Smartphone that does in
fact have a Skype app on it. I was just wondering
if Mageia had an RPM for it.

Thanks

Nope, it leaves nothing up in the air, and often mentions the name of the final package.
Seems you only read the irrelevant-to-your-question first part of the bug report ...
Also seems you missed our MAQeia for Skype which has all the information:
viewtopic.php?f=36&t=1121

I'm wondering, why write all that documentation when nobody is reading it ... :(
