Next annoyance: system switching ttys

Postby wobo » Jan 17th, '12, 13:07

With last updates (could have been yesterday) of Alpha3 the display occasionally switches between ttys without me doing anything to cause this.
In the middle of doing something (or not doing anything) in the KDE gui the screen changes to a login prompt on tty1 - wasn't the x server display supposed to be on tty1? Pressing Ctrl-Alt-F2 brings me back to the running KDE desktop. Wasn't this supposed to be the other way round?

Anyhow, this changing of the ttys happens continually (every 20-30 seconds) which makes it very hard to do anything. You read something in your browser - black screen with login prompt. You press Ctrl+Alt+F2 and commence reading - black screen with login prompt. You press Ctrl+Alt+F2 again and commence reading - black screen again. You shutdown and go fishing. Or write a post such as this one. :)

I have the same problem here.
On which package this bug report should be submitted ?

You don't need to submit it on any package, you can leave that to the triage team if you don't know.
