[SOLVED] Alpha3: KDE: Activities desktop not showing

In the KDE version of Alpha3 there is the "Activities Management" view (hopefully this is the correct name, I'm translating from German) - it is the view you can start by clicking on the icon (3 colored dots) next to the start menue icon. IMHO this view is a very nice GUI for notebooks/netbooks, much better in usability and efficiency than the Rosa solution of Mandriva 2011.

On a initial Alpha1 updated to current status this view works nicely. Unfortunately it does not work with a fresh install of Alpha3. I see the icon next to the start menue but a click only starts a configuration bar where I could/should configure the "Activities". I see "Workspace" without any visible links or icons, "Search & Start" and "Activity images".

Is there anything missing? Unfortunately I could not find any documentation of this, neither at Mageia nor on the KDE site.

By coincidence I found out that activating the option "Search & Start" not shows the box like Alt+F2 (as I thought) - it starts the complete "Activities Desktop" !
Duh! :o
