Gnome 2 is done. I tried to think of a way to best
explain it and came up with this. It's kinda like
electronic circuits that use vacuum tubes. They
are even around today but their day is gone.
We had to move on and now everything is solid state.
Same with Gnome 2 -> Gnome 3. There's only so
much you can extract, tweek, change and update
and their ain't no more room anymore to get it better.
So it's out with the old and in with the new. The new
is a little rough on the edges right now. Gnome 2
took a lot of years to get it to where it is. So will
be Gnome 3 whatever form it eventually takes.
