Bouncing back to log in screen

This morning I did a completely new install of
Cauldron and encountered, again, a persistent
error I've seen on three different platforms.
After the install if the first thing you do
is open a terminal and simply type anything
into the command line xOrg will crash and
take you back to the log in screen. I've
seen this in both KDE and Gnome installs
and in a Vbox install. Is this documented
in a bug somewhere and others have got to
be seeing this? Sometimes you end up in
an endless circle round and round to the
login screen. Sometimes after the 2nd
login things are fine from then on.

Yes, reported previously, written down at https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Mageia_2_Err ... _Enter_key and already fixed.

Cool, thanks. I'll just kinda put up with it for now. Seems when
you do update a new install Mageia 2 Alpha 2 it gets better.
I'll bring it up again at Alpha 3. Should really be gone by then.

Did you actually read that link? Just install updated plymouth and the problem is gone. Why put up with it?
