[Solved] Cauldron task-cinnamon-minimal package incomplete

The task-cinnamon-minimum and task-cinnamon will not install because cinnamon 6.4 is not included. Updating an existing cinnamon install resulted in some packages being at version 4.6 and others being lower causing several cinnmon utilites not to work. For example:

cinnamon-settings sound will not open and it causes the sound icon on the cinnamon panel to crash. The only way I found to control sound was the pavucontrol
cinnamon-settings for mouse/touchpad will not open
cinnamon power management is broken and this causes the the battery icon to not work

Please ask the packager to re-do task-cinnamon-minimal to include the missing packages.

alternately, just wait for an update to fix the issue.

yes, I am aware of the 4 cinnamon issues, as I am running several multi-DE cauldron systems.

after waiting a month to see if any of the many updates would fix a mate issue ( Eye Of Mate crash,) last thursday I created a bug report.
In typical cauldron fashion, an update on saturday corrected the problem. I am closing the bug report today after checking a second multi-DE cauldron system and that system mate issue is resolved.

I agree. The only reason I didn't report a bug that day is because I tried to go over to bug reports to submit it and I kept getting a server error on my browser. I tried to submit the bug report immediately after making the above post and I tried a few more times over the next couple of days. I'll try again now.

[Edit] I was finally able to get into bugs thigs morning and report it there. I'm not sure why but sometimes here in Providence, Rhode Island the Mageia forms and or bugs site don't like to load. Thanks again for this amazing distro.

Yea, that has been happening to me for a while. Not every time but occasionally. Not sure what's up with that.
