Kmail 23.04.1 error message

I get this error message (or something very similar) (see below) every time I send a message with Kmail. What does this error mean? Even though the message says "E-mail sending failed," the message actually does send.

Failed to store result in item. [LLCONFLICT] Resource akonadi_maildir_resource_0 tries to modify item 11008 (1688383699614.R505.nascar) (in collection 42) with revision 2; the item was modified elsewhere and has revision 3, aborting STORE.

Just a shot in the dark.... Do you have kcalutils installed?

I don't use Kmail so I'm just guessing.

I assume that your installation is Mageia 9 KDE Plasma from the alpha or beta media. Do you see the message in a pop-up window or in the output of the error messages of the journal? I see nothing of the sort when sending a test mail.

Please, show the output of (as user)

cat ~/.local/share/akonadi/db_data/mysql.err

and run

akonadictl fsck

The latter comand will check the database for inconsistencies and mark them for repair or reindexing of data.

I tried both of your suggestions. The error is still there. I think what happened is that I installed Alpha or beta copy and just continuously updated it. I have a second computer running M9 beta 2 and it doesn't do this. Even though the popup says "e-mail sending failed", the message does get sent.

When Mageia 9 is finally released, I'm going to do a fresh install. I think that will probably fix it.
