I am using Cauldron with all the latest updates. I think I may be using beta1 with all the updates. (maybe I should be using beta2 instead?)

Specifically, I am having a problem with KMail 5.23.1 (23.04.1)
I have it set to download messages on startup. This is what happens....

My Inbox shows I have X number of new messages. However, the messages don't actually get downloaded....they eventually show up...about 15 minutes later.
The one message that originally came through right away...I tried to move it to the wastebin after I read it. KMail would not let me do that. Then I tried to delete it. I got a popup that said "KMail is transferring the message." After a few minutes, the message had still not been transferred or deleted. Rebooting seemed to fix it.

Is this normal behavior, or am I doing something wrong?

Following updates, all above is the same until we release and branch Cauldron/mga9.

Does simply closing only Kmail and starting it again fix it? (temporarily)

(I dont use Kmail, so i dont have much ideas)

What mail transport do you use? POP/SMTP, IMAP, "offline IMAP" ?

Is this normal behavior, or am I doing something wrong?

Something really seem wrong, but what...

Closing Kmail and re-starting it did not fix the problem. I use POP/SMTP
