[SOLVED] 7zip commandline vs. p7z

Since Version 21.01 (2021-03-09) of 7zip there is support for the commandline under linux. Currently we have p7z which wasnt got a new upstream version since a longer time. What do you think about add 7zip to MGA Cauldron?

That is more of a licensing problem, see e.g. https://github.com/NixOS/nixpkgs/issues/163680 / https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Licensing:Unrar
That's why we only have p7zip and why 7zip is not packaged for any other distro other then ubuntu AFAICT.
Cauldron is not for the faint of heart!
Caution: Hot, bubbling magic inside. May explode or cook your kittens!
